Job requirements for a BDC Representative:

  • Candidates must possess strong communication skills and a minimum of 1-year customer service experience, handling a high volume of phone calls.
  • Knowledge and experience with ERA, Reynolds & Reynolds, Reynolds Ignite and X-Time preferred, but not required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answers incoming service calls in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Works with customers to schedule service appointments; estimating the time needed to do the repair, taking into account the customers’ schedule.
  • Respond to all email inquiries appropriately and in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Obtains price quotes on requested services from customers.
  • Order special order parts for customers.
  • Contact customers regarding upcoming appointments.
  • Monitor customer appointment schedule and modify as needed.
  • Contact customers to schedule appointments for next service (if not already scheduled).
  • Communicate and inform customers of open safety/campaigns, if eligible.
  • Process follow up surveys regarding past service.
  • Follow up and contact customers when ordered parts have arrived.
  • Follow up with customers on recommended and declined services.
  • Participate in organized customer retention and loyalty programs.
  • Maintain a service customer follow up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
  • Must be CSI driven.
  • Answer the phones to assist customers in a friendly, helpful and prompt manner.
  • Assist customers by effectively resolving customer service issues.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail a must.
  • Background check and pre-employment drug screening required.
  • Salary is commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
