**A Day in the Life:**

+ The Senior Process Engineer is part of Medtronic's Global Molding & Capital Mold Tooling team within Operations Innovation and is responsible for owning and driving all Medtronic Manufacturing and Contract Manufacturing Site Qualifications and Process Setup for New Components related to Injection Molding processes.

+ This role will work with multiple cross-functional teams to ensure proper execution of Medtronic process qualification activities, and manufacturing setup is followed that complies with all procedures and satisfy all manufacturing requirements.

+ Provides technical and sustaining manufacturing support to manufacturing processes.

+ Recommends and implements equipment and process modifications to meet quality standards and improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques as well as production yields for existing products and components.

+ Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques including the measurement systems.

+ Proven technical leader of cross-functional teams including R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Quality, Sourcing, and Supply Chain through qualification processes.

+ Plans and executes Qualifications/Validations within a manufacturing environment, coordinating all qualification requirements with the associated manufacturing sites, and ensuring documentation is completed for the manufacturing site

+ High-level experience working within a regulated industry (medical device or automotive)

+ Leads Equipment troubleshooting, and Process Characterization (DoE) for Manufacturing assembly Processes.

+ Mentors Engineers in overall personal development.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelors degree required

+ Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience

**Nice to Have**

+ Statistics, MSA, MiniTab understanding

+ Strong organizational skills

+ Analytical problem solving

+ Demonstrated initiative and innovation

+ Ability to transfer technical knowledge to manufacturing operations

+ Review/prepare test protocols and reports to qualify part and product changes

+ Work remotely across time zones

+ Experience with contract manufacturers

+ Supplier Change Control and Agile System process experience is a plus

+ Solid understanding of the injection molding process
