Administrator - Quality & Safety

Trouw Nutrition is hiring… we are looking to hire a Quality & Safety Administrator to join our team in Chilliwack, BC, to assist with processing daily production related tasks including Food Safety, People Safety, and Inventory programs while maintaining a high level of quality awareness. This role combines administrative work, tasks in the production area and safety related tasks. Job Description: Quality & Safety Administrator: This position will be of interest to you if you are looking for variety during the day. Professional, reliable and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Production & Quality: You will be working with various departments; teamwork and collaboration are key to success. We count on your abilities with data entry, reviewing and auditing data, researching and reconciling inventory Assist with processing daily production records such as manufacturing, packaging, bag waste records. Maintain files and production records. Complete various reports as assigned Constant quality awareness to ensure that all company policies & procedures are strictly followed Prepare for all audits, both internal & external SH&E (People Safety) Maintain relevant documentation at a level that fulfills all Provincial & Federal Safety regulations. Maintain all PPE and First Aid supplies on a regular basis. Be a positive safety leader Lab work: You will be collecting samples at various stages of the production process Testing of hay & water samples as needed Daily commodity & finished feed scanning using various equipment & programs Maintain cleanliness and organization of sample room Good to know: This is a permanent, full-time position, Monday to Friday. Overtime hours may occasionally be required. PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA: High school. Experience in a feed manufacturing environment would be considered an asset Ability to prioritize workload & effectively meet deadlines Proficiency in MS office applications.
