Key Responsibilities
Review New Product Designs for Manufacturability
Provide Production Impact and Cost Analysis for New Product Designs
Develop and refine processes for new product launch
Create or update SOPs, PFMEAs, and Layouts for new product
Maintain and report the status of the schedule for projects
Plan, define and implement the related equipment changes within the given time frame of the project
Update control documents per ISO requirements for new product
Use best practices from the Manufacturing Engineering group
Qualifications & Skills
Required
B.S. Degree in Engineering (Prefer Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing)
Multiple years of direct experience in a CNC Machining manufacturing environment
Demonstrated knowledge of Process and Continuous Improvement
Lead projects to address production increase and investment and installation of new machining equipment.
Experience with HELLER Machine Centers and Liebherr Gantries strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and influence others
Desired
Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
Experience in a simultaneous engineering-style project environment
Experience with CAD and/or CREO Parametric
