Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RIS) has an exciting career opportunity for an RF Engineer to join our Digital Apertures Section in the Antenna Products Department. This position is in McKinney, TX and will support a diverse portfolio of internally and externally funded research and technology development activities. The engineer will participate in the analysis, design, integration, and test of various digital phased array products.
Required Skills:
A thorough understanding of phased array antenna architectures and theory of operation
Ability to manage cost, schedule, and performance of a small team of engineers
Desired Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrated by publications and student awards
Knowledge of Printed Wiring Board (PWB) or printed circuit board (PCB) fabrication processes and design rules.
Matlab
Ability to write drivers to communicate with and control embedded devices
The ability to design and analyze an RF transmit/receive signal chain
Hands on experience with RF test equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzer, signal generator), performing antenna range measurements, and test automation using software
Required Education:
BS and 10 years of experience, An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
Desired Education:
MS degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus in electromagnetics, microwaves, RF or antenna design and a minimum 3+ years relevant experience

Typically requires:
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years
prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited
by local laws/regulations.
