TherapyTravelers is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for a contract School Speech Language Pathologist for the 2022-2023 school year. There's the opportunity to work with a very supportive team in this district, including other SLPs. They're both really just great buildings to work, and they have a good school culture, friendly people, and strong principals. Newton is a very well-regarded district. So it's a good chance to get their foot in the door

• Location: Newton, MA
• Onsite or Virtual: On-Site
• Full or Part Time: Full Time

Position 1:

• Duration: Immediately - June 8, 2023
• Schedule: 36 hours/week, 8:15 AM – 3:00 PM
• Grade/Age Levels: Preschool
• Caseload Description: Preschool position is to cover students who are in our ABA classrooms. So they are students with autism diagnoses. Most of them are AAC users, it would be providing both individual and very small group services. There's also the possibility of that person providing some kind of language group services to students with less complex profiles.

Position 2:

• Duration: December 1, 2022 - March 15, 2023
• Schedule: 36 hours/week, 8:15 AM – 3:00 PM
• Grade/Age Levels: Elementary
• Caseload Description: The elementary school position is a real mix of complex AAC users with more straightforward kind of articulation and language disorders and social pragmatic deficits

The minimum qualifications for a Speech Pathologist:

• 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as an SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
• Valid SLP license or in process in the state of practice
