Generating insights using real-time treatment data for the development and support of innovative orthodontic products in the R&D laboratory of 3M's Oral Care Solutions Division.Working collaboratively with R&D scientists and engineers, software developers, orthodontists, and other subject-matter experts, providing responses to questions as well as independently pursuing analyses using real-world data.Understanding treatment goals and contributing quantitative methods or study design in support of treatment protocol and product development. Collaborating on metrics that capture clinical progress and treatment outcomes. Communicating analysis methodology and results interpretation to a variety of audiences, including customers and business stakeholders. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in mathematics, science, or engineering (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionTwo (2) years of experience analyzing data in a private, public, government or military environmentTwo (2) years of experience with R, Python and/or SAS programming Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Master's degree or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Science, or Engineering from an accredited institutionExperience with orthodontic products and treatmentKnowledge of clinical trial designsTrack record of delivering product performance insights using real-world dataDemonstrated history of building strong relationships with peers and cross-functional partnersStrong communication, presentation, and writing skills, and the ability to explain complex technical details in clear language
