Job Description


As a Workday Developer With OMES You Will Enjoy

Job Details


  • Full-time 40-hour work week.
  • Support the Information Services Division of OMES.
  • Salary is up to $100,000 based on education and experience.


Responsibilities


  • Under the direction of Director and Supervisor, the Workday developer will be the technical expert over the company Workday system integrations and middleware and be responsible for the overall maintenance, monitoring, support, development, and issue management of inbound/outbound integrations and middleware in accordance with agency policy and standards.
  • Interview end users, stakeholders, and project sponsors to assess Workday technical needs.
  • Analyze and document business requirements and processes.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and teams to provide recommendations on design decisions.
  • Ensure business solutions are in line with agency and customer requirements.
  • Develop documentation for future use and troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshoot and solve technical issues.


Physical Demands and Work Environment


This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild. Occasional travel may be required.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems (or related) and 3+ years experience or the equivalent combination of training and work experience.
  • Strong experience with Workday integration tools and processes.
  • Experience with Web Services and API s, experience with designing and implementing ETL processes and use of ETL tools, and experience with interface, networking, and data warehousing technologies.


Preference Will Be Given To Candidates Who Possess


  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • History of leading and supporting complex implementation projects.
