The Director, Partner Marketing is part of the B2B marketing org at Zillow - our goal is to attract and grow a network of the strongest partners in Real Estate to help customers unlock life's next chapter. The Director, Partner Marketing role will help define that future by designing and executing measurable marketing programs aimed at growing revenue, engagement, performance and affinity with partners across the Zillow Premier Agents, Zillow Rental and New Construction businesses.

About the role

This is a high visibility role that will directly impact the overall development of the Zillow's partner network. You will be responsible for the following:

Building and leading a world-class team of Partner Marketers is the number one priority. As a leader, you will set a high bar for the team, fostering an environment where everyone can thrive. You will create clarity from ambiguity, and act both strategically and decisively in setting the team vision and goals. You will do so by building relationships that are transparent and engender trust and shared success.

Identifying what is most needed and most compelling to partners - and feeding that insight back into the organization to influence content strategy, partner programs, prioritization and related communications.

Leading the cross-functional development of partner programs, multi-channel communications and enablement strategies that support go-to-market strategies that focus on "to", "with" and "through" programs.

Develop specific content that is relevant to the individual lines of business and be able to have a consistent and comprehensive story and narrative that engages the partner. Identifying and delivering innovative ways to tell the "Partner Story" that brings Partners along the Zillow journey to help scale engagement.

Monitoring, analyzing and reporting on partner marketing program performance and making recommendations to improve engagement, measurement and related marketing.

Contributing to the development of a world-class marketing team to establish Partner Marketing as a functional center of excellence by defining measurement and ongoing reporting, sharing best practices, scaling successful programs and refining processes.

Core responsibilities:

* Collaborate with Product Marketing, Partner Success and the Zillow Leadership to deeply understand the business with an emphasis on the vision for our partner network.


* Storytelling - develop and drive content for partner events either virtual or in-person.


* Work cross functionally to define the strategy for partner-centric marketing programs that will enroll, educate and inspire our partners.


* Foster a community of partners by scaling existing partner marketing programs and building new ones that drive measurable engagement.


* Collaborate with marketing, business leaders, corporate communications, and other relevant teams to build annual and quarterly multi-channel integrated marketing plans. Participate in the quarterly prioritization process and advocate for partner marketing initiatives.


* Develop strong working relationships with Brand, Comms strategy & Channels, Content and Creative Services to design/develop content relevant to the Partner, includes content strategy, develop assets for communication and identify new ways to engage our partners.


* Partner with the Insights and Partner Success teams in the development of a new Partner Intelligence capability (industry, competitive and market insights) to influence business decisions and inform how we engage partners.


* Incubate and scale new engagement strategies that bring our partners together as one real estate network.


* Lead a growing team to deliver exceptional work aligned to business priorities.



Who are you

* 10+ years of experience in Partner marketing, strategy or relevant consulting - preferably within real estate and/or technology company/brand


* 5+ years of demonstrated ability in hiring and leading high-performing teams in a cross-matrixed environment


* Track record of successfully launching and scaling B2B engagement strategies and delivering programs that directly impact revenue goals


* Strong analytic skills maximize data to make strong recommendations and drive decision making


* Solutions oriented marketer who can drive consensus by resolving ambiguity, building relationships and influencing cross-functional teams


* Inclusive people manager who is comfortable in a flexible, distributed working environment


* Executive level communication skills and excellent written communication skills


* Ability to influence others without authority to get things done in a timely fashion; balance multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs


* Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or relevant field of study

(plus) MBA or Graduate degree

This role has been categorized as a Hybrid position. "Hybrid" employees regularly work at an existing ZG corporate office for approximately 10 to 80 percent of their time each month, and the rest of the time they may work from a remote physical location of their choice within a reasonable commuting distance from the corporate office which must be identified to the Company in advance. The Recruiter and Hiring Manager will set expectations on the employee's preferred time in office. ZG has not defined a reasonable distance, and expects employees will use judgment in determining this for themselves and understand the implications re: time commitment and cost of daily commute.
