Job Type: Full-time
The desired candidate will be responsible for selling PM AM solutions and public safety applications to cities, counties and state agencies in the region in which they have responsibility for, specifically in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico and Louisiana. They should be comfortable with multitasking and be able to budget their resources in order to meet the assigned quotas for their role.
Responsibilities
Act as a trusted advisor to influence customer's technology platform decisions and develop preference and loyalty for PM AM.
Develop strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers within and outside of public safety; sheriff, mayor, CIO, Police Chief, Fire Chief and other officials in order to understand and influence technology and funding priorities.
Proactively develop large project opportunities encompassing a wide range of customers and services (ex. counties and cities within the county, regional fusion centers supporting multiple cities and counties).
Develop PM AM procurement vehicles for multiple solutions to be leveraged across an entire region and multiple opportunities.
Track and record metrics throughout sales process.
Meet and exceed financial goals.
Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of sales/public safety experience or 7+ years of sales/public safety experience.
Existing relationships within the area of responsibility one will be selling in.
Baseline knowledge of SaaS based services and cloud computing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
