Expected to design and prepare CIQ comprising Network design, CPU, Memory, Disk etc for the SMSF NF in 5G core customer labs. Update the Ansible scripts and helm charts to suite customer need for the installation of IaaS, CaaS and PaaS to setup the Kubernetes cluster as foundation bed for SMSF NF. Troubleshoot and fix Kubernetes based platform complexities to maintain the Container Attached Services and avoid downtimes in customer premises. Support customer CI/CD activities by hosting images, configs etc. to Harbor, Git etc. registries. Mitigate and support customer security scan audits of nodes and pods. Host the openebs based Volume services for the Kubernetes Persistent Volume services. Collect and analyze the metrics collected on Kibana, Grafana, Kubernetes Dashboard etc. to prepare reports for customer. Design and prepare test plans for network resiliency of the SMSF NF over Kubernetes. ATP preparation for the SMSF interaction with other 5GC components like AMF, UDM, DRA etc. that support messaging over 5G. Support SMSF troubleshooting sessions for any issues during Call Flow testing with various NF components of 5G. Prepare tools (using python, shell etc..) to enhance debugging on SMSF.Key ResponsibilitiesNAJob RequirementsPosition requires a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field (foreign equivalent acceptable) and 5 years of progressively responsible experience or a Master's in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field (foreign equivalent acceptable) and 2 years of experience. The experience that is required must have involved the following: IMS Network Architecture Protocols and Call Flows; Spec (ETSI/3GPP) based knowledge on Telecom Messaging call flows and Protocols - SS7, SiGTRAN, MAP, SMPP, MM4, RCS; Access Network and hand off to IMS for VoLTE; troubleshooting Site issues using TRLs CDRs CallTrace, and other relevant tools; Python, Shell or equivalent scripting language to design and support the Call Flow Testing and debugging; working on any DB application like Mysql, MariaDB, Cassandra DB, CouchBase DB, NetConf based, etc; accessing repositories like Git, Harbor, Jfrog etc.This position is eligible for an employee referral bonus.#LI-DNIAccessibilityMavenir is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodation to individuals with physical and mental disabilities.
