Software Engineer Manager

We are looking for a Manager of Software Engineering that enjoys creating action plans that helps Software Engineers thrive in a modern .Net Environment. This Manager of Software Engineering will work closely with other Software Development Manager and help create a highly efficient Software Development team using Agile and other modern software development approaches. What this role does daily:

•        Operate effectively in a large enterprise environment while helping the organization transition to modern technology.

•        Actively participate in third party SaaS based integration decisions. 

•        Help architect, design, validate and implement new enterprise solutions

•        Lead code reviews and work with development teams to help create best development patterns, frameworks and practices

•        Implement architectural strategies for building loosely coupled, modular systems which leverage Cloud computing to achieve economies of scale

•        Empower development teams to adopt a DevOps philosophy, IaaS and CI/CD best practices. 

What you bring to the table

•        Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

•        Minimum five (10) years’ experience designing and developing enterprise-based web and mobile based applications and services.

•        5 + years of experience managing and mentoring a team of software engineers

•        Two (2) + years working experience within a .Net environment and cloud-based technologies while building out scalable solutions.

•        Excellent written and oral communication skills

•        Experience conducting code reviews and taking part in technical discussions

•        Experience working in an Agile (SCRUM, SAFe, etc), TDD, CI/CD and Cloud based environments.  

•        Familiarity with container concepts and toolsets (Lambda, ECS Fargate, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
