Job Description Summary

Our Information Security team identifies and assesses security risks, delivers valuable security insight, and helps develop systems of enterprise-class security.

As the Associate Director for OT Cybersecurity, you are responsible for alignment with business strategic plans and adherence of BD's Information Security Policies and Procedures to global and local laws and ensure Manufacturing and Supply Chain information asset and technology risks are adequately managed. The candidate will have an in-depth understanding of Operational Technology and risk management activities, including security risk assessments, remediation planning for manufacturing systems. Integration and Maturity of BD's Information Security strategy in partnership with Integrated Supply Chain. (e.g., risk assessment, awareness/training, incident response, critical initiatives, and external engagements) while engaging cross functional leadership to report on status and coordinate initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the company's manufacturing security program strategy and maturity, including adoption of BD cybersecurity framework activities within your area of responsibility
  • Lead cross-functional working teams and work with Integrated Supply Chain leadership to develop and implement strategic and tactical plans for cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Work cross-functionally to use available SME resources with expertise in cybersecurity including engineering, operations, and governance.
  • Ensure adoption of cybersecurity framework activities and deliverables within the OT environment
  • Assist and direct organization in the daily execution of identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining processes to reduce strategic business and information risks.
  • Monitor and advise management of industry and regulatory changes affecting information security, working proactively to help the company understand and address any changes.
  • Support and drive key metrics and KPIs for Manufacturing Security

Basic Qualifications

  • Proven leadership skills and can mobilize, empower, mentor and lead a matrixed team towards a common vision and set of objectives. Utilizing excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, have had success addressing complex issues and programs and delivering tough messages in a professional manner.
  • Strong technical experience in Operation Technology and Integrated Supply Chain
  • Proven ability to operate cross functionally and lead without authority in order to effectively execute on corporate wide initiatives.

Education and/or Experience

  • Knowledge of manufacturing healthcare industry, medical devices, IoT and intersection of IT and OT
  • Minimum of 5 years of information, product, and/or cyber security leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry, manufacturing security and operational technology cybersecurity frameworks and practices
  • Professional security management certification (Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP/ HCISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or other industry recognized IS credential)

Physical Demands

  • Use of computer, phone, ability to travel globally (minimal).
