Job DescriptionWilliam M. Bird and Company Inc., a subsidiary of Southern Diversified Distributors, is looking for a dynamic, high-performing Commercial Sales Representative with experience selling floor covering solutions. This person will have the opportunity to manage and grow the commercial territory and turn it into potentially one of the top territories in the company. This person will also call on and develop specifications throughout the A & D Community. The ideal candidate will be driven, self-motivating, and have a solid understanding of solution selling approaches. They will integrate closely with internal teams and maximize growth opportunities within their assigned territory. Scope of the Position : This Commercial Sales Representative will be responsible for calling on Commercial Flooring Contractors, Architects, designers, and end-users. They are ultimately responsible for driving profitable business by selling an array of floor covering products across various product categories while supporting some of the finest manufacturing names in the industry. This position requires drive and initiative and the ability to develop personal relationships and turn those relationships into business results. This person must be responsive to their customers' needs by using text, email, and/or phone and the latest technology. The person must have the ability to understand our customer's business, identify potential solutions, and present those solutions with enthusiasm to the point of adoption. Qualifications: * A driven, competitive individual who excels in exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Ability to thrive in a quota driven environment. * A self-directed professional with an understanding of solution sales approaches. Someone who can develop relationships and partnerships. * A solid business acumen with the ability to quickly learn products, understand our customers' business, and implement effective solutions that drive profitability. * Excellent communication skills. Ability to present product offerings in a manner that leads to solution adoption. * Solid teamwork skills that promote the greater good.
