Job Description
As a NAND Principal Product Development Engineer in a High-Speed IO (HSIO) focused group, you will be responsible for ensuring the HSIO Characterization, testability, and manufacturability of NAND Flash components from the component feasibility stage through the production ramp.
This includes:
- Making significant contributions to the design, development, and validation of High-Speed capabilities of NAND devices.
- Creating Design for Test capabilities for testing high speed devices
- Leading the definition for new high speed device features and developing new test methods
- Evaluation, development, and debugging of complex test methods.
- Test, validate, and redesign circuits to guarantee component margin to specification.
- Analyze and evaluate component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis.
- Lead and mentor engineers
- Data Analysis and Parsing to analyze high volume data for Quality improvement and Yield improvement.
- Electrical Failure Analysis. Autonomously plan and schedule own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and experienced judgment.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar degree with 12+ years of experience in the following:
- Development and/or validation of high-speed memory interfaces
- Expertise in test techniques, systems, and equipment for the characterization and production test of high-speed memory interfaces
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar degree
- Proficient with Python/other scripting languages.
- Experience with Data extraction and analysis by using MS Excel, and JMP.
- Experience with Interpret datasheet specifications and validation methods.
- Experience with NAND Flash wafer and component level testing and yield improvement.
- Experience NAND Flash erase, program and read algorithms, and device physics.
- Experience with Failure and Root-Cause analysis.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
