Enterprise Architect II - Infrastructure

The Enterprise Architect - Infrastructure role will be responsible for creating, communicating, and ensuring adherence to enterprise-wide hybrid infrastructure (on premise & public cloud) architecture design, principles, guidelines, and solutions. As well as responsible for advancing IT infrastructure architecture in support of the business and IT strategy and developing roadmaps and blueprints to ensure architecture goals are met.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Focuses on overall project technical and architecture design, quality of solution, knowledge transfer to other areas, and mentoring the project technical team members
• Conducts research and understands hardware, network, storage, virtualization, and cloud computing industry trends with regards to technology and can understand and evaluate the use of automated tools and utilities and how they relate in support of the overall enterprise architecture
• Provide overall direction, guidance, and definition of the EA to support the corporate business strategies
• Assess and anticipate technology projects and recommend appropriate action and resources
• Establish and direct the strategic and tactical goals, policies, and procedures for the information technology department
• Collaborates with the Infrastructure staff during system design and development phases, providing advice, interpretation, and review of infrastructure platform architecture and design principles
• Evaluate overall operations of computing and information technology functions and recommend enhancement.
• Advise senior management on strategic systems conversions and integrations in support of business goals and objectives
  
  

Job Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor s Degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent years of experience are determined as one year of technical experience for every year of college requested
  
  

Experience

• 10 years - Experience in IT Infrastructure Architecture or related field required
  
  

Skills/Certifications

• Strong working knowledge one or more cloud environments and experienced in architecting hybrid multi-cloud infrastructure
• Experience with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery design, planning and implementation for virtualized and cloud infrastructure
• Ability to collaborate with a cross-functional teams to explain and enforce architecture standards
• Ability to apply security concepts and controls to adapt to organizations needs and goals
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to perform non-routine analytical tasks
• Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as business acumen to communicate details about enterprise architecture, policies, and practices to technical and nontechnical colleagues
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Should have an agile mindset and have awareness and understanding of Agile methodologies
