An insurance agency is in need of a Remote Utilization Review Behavioral Health Registered Nurse.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
Conducting telephonic utilization review/precertification services
Identifying solutions to non-standard requests and problems
Maintaining appropriate documentation and records cost management
Skills and Requirements Include:
Current unrestricted RN license
Associates Degree in Nursing (Bachelor Degree is a plus)
3-5 years of clinical practice experience, e.g., hospital setting, alternative care setting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Experience using video conferencing
Knowledge of medical/health insurance terminology, ICD-10/ICD-11, HIPAA and DOL regulationsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
