Job Description
The Senior Research Director of One Fire Associates, LLC will be responsible for directing research and evaluation activities and projects within the expert area of training and practice. Working with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the scope of duties include the following:
- Leading research and evaluation activities of the organization. Directing project planning, training, timelines, staffing, and the delivery of products according to the Scope of Work and Budget.
- Keeping detailed and accurate documentation of work and process.
- Ensuring professional licenses, certifications, and/or training are in place and up to date for conducting scope of work and practices.
- Providing input into policy and procedures.
- Participating in hiring staff.
- Developing and conducting training.
- Analyzing qualitative and/or quantitative data as within scope of training and experience.
- Assigning research and evaluation tasks and managing/supervising staff and student interns. Ensuring all staff and interns are adhering to applicable laws and codes of ethics in the field of practice.
- Engaging in organizational data and informational tracking for quality improvement.
- Writing proposals and developing collaborative projects with partners.
- Learning and using various software platforms and applications to facilitate the work of One Fire.
- Traveling nationally for onsite work (international travel optional).
Additional Qualifications:
- The position requires a doctoral degree and 5+ years of experience in working in the field with indigenous populations at community and system levels.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team approach, taking input and guidance from others, which include staff and external consultants.
- Ability to effectively and consistently work remotely from your state/territory (at date of hire) within the United States.
- Take initiative to advance innovative projects and partnerships.
